The Bemidji Public Library will host Wendell Affield to lead a workshop on how to trace your family history. Come join us on Thursday, October 21 from 3.30 to 6.30 in the library meeting room at 509 America Avenue, Bemidji. This event is limited to fifteen participants and you can register by emailing your name to galloa@krls.org.

Affield has spent the better part of two decades exploring and tracing his complicated family history. This journey has taken him to local, state, and federal archives to search for information. Bring a quest for adventure and whatever you need to take notes for this free workshop that will help you discover your family tree.

Registration is limited to fifteen people. To register, please email your name to galloa@krls.org.

Participants will receive a 5-page handout with links that will be helpful for researching their own family history. Any interested person is welcome to download the link for free at the button below.
